LVMH’s Retail CEO Announces His Intent to Retire

Christopher de Lapuente is set to leave the group on October 31.

The President and CEO of the retail division at LVMH, Christopher de Lapuente, is retiring on October 31, 2024. The internal announcement was confirmed by Bloomberg.
 
The retail division includes Sephora, Le Bon Marché, Le Samaritaine, and DFS. 
 
Lapuente oversees the Sephora beauty chain and has been CEO of Sephora since 2011. In 2011, he also became a member of the executive committee of LVMH. He was also appointed CEO of the perfumes and cosmetics division for LVMH in 2015. 
 
Before joining LVMH, Lapuente worked at Proctor & Gamble.
